First Day in Bar Harbor

Awestruck!  What a great flight.  We flew over a bunch of little watery islands.  Mom was sleeping but said it was most likely North Carolina's outer banks.   It was beautiful- shallow green water and lots of islands and I could see a bunch of sail boats gathered in several places. 


There was entertainment on the plane, the girl in front of us said the f-word about 50 times.   She was mad at world and wanted everyone to know.

The drive from Bangor was very rural, I was surprised by that.  We stopped at Trenton (?) and had delicious Lobster Stew!  This is a picture of the lobser pots.  It was raining so we went to bed early, looking forward to our lighthouse tour tomorrow.  :)
